The listed dimensions are the size of the tool, i.e. the wet clay. Clay shrinks during drying and firing, usually around 5–15%, and the final size of your piece always depends on your own clay and firing temperature. For example, with a 10 cm size and 12% shrinkage, the finished piece would be about 8.8 cm. Please check your clay's shrinkage before ordering and choose the size accordingly.

Create professional-grade tiles with this durable cutter from Icewood Atelier! The 2 cm high cutting edge makes this tool incredibly versatile: it's perfect for cutting clay as well as shaping plaster, concrete, or soap.
Available Models (Internal Dimensions):
- Square 1 (10 x 10 cm target size with 11% shrinkage): approx. 11.1 x 11.1 cm
- Rectangle 1 (7.5 x 15 cm target size with 11% shrinkage): approx. 8.3 x 16.7 cm
- Rectangle 2: 6 x 24,7 cm (24,7cm is at the moment the MAX size for our 3D printers)
- Edge height for all: 2.0+ cm
The cutters are 3D printed from eco-friendly, biodegradable PLA plastic.
