The listed dimensions are the size of the tool, i.e. the wet clay. Clay shrinks during drying and firing, usually around 5–15%, and the final size of your piece always depends on your own clay and firing temperature. For example, with a 10 cm size and 12% shrinkage, the finished piece would be about 8.8 cm. Please check your clay's shrinkage before ordering and choose the size accordingly.

This two-piece cutter set lets you build a clean, repeatable form for cups or small vases. The set includes a curved wall cutter and two round base cutters, marked 55 mm and 53 mm, so you can pick the size that matches how you join the wall seam.
Some makers butt the ends of the wall strip directly together, others overlap the clay edges at the seam — the two base sizes are there so either approach gets a base that fits, without you having to guess in advance. Each round cutter is marked with its size for quick identification, and the cutting edge has been raised for a cleaner, easier cut.
The wall cutter yields a finished height of about 107 mm, with an inner rim diameter of about 80 mm. Brim-full capacity is around 0.4 L; in practical use with headroom it holds about 0.35–0.39 L, depending on which base cutter you use. Dimensions are wet measurements; clay shrinkage and your process will affect the final size.
Use is straightforward: roll the clay, cut a continuous wall strip and a base with whichever round cutter fits your join, form on a soft support and join the seam with slip. Tools are intended for clay and ceramics; not food-safe.
