Cinnabar is a glossy maroon red. In higher-temperature reduction firings the colour becomes lighter.

Finish: Gloss maroon red

Firing range: Cone 5/6 – Cone 10 (approx. 1200–1300 °C), oxidation or reduction

Application: Stir well before use and brush onto bisqueware in layers. The final look depends on your clay body, the number of coats and the firing schedule.
