The listed dimensions are the size of the tool, i.e. the wet clay. Clay shrinks during drying and firing, usually around 5–15%, and the final size of your piece always depends on your own clay and firing temperature. For example, with a 10 cm size and 12% shrinkage, the finished piece would be about 8.8 cm. Please check your clay's shrinkage before ordering and choose the size accordingly.

All six Basic Shapes in one set: circle, square, oval, triangle, hexagon and teardrop, each 8 cm. A great starting kit for slab building, tiles, coasters, small dishes and decorations – and a nice gift for a fellow clay maker.
Press the cutter straight down into rolled-out clay and lift it off – the thin cutting edge leaves a crisp outline, and the wide top rim makes it comfortable to press evenly. Sizes are measured across the largest outer dimension; the oval is in a 4:3 ratio.
Every shape is also available as a single cutter in any size from 1 to 25 cm. The set price already includes a discount compared to buying the cutters separately, so sets are not included in the cutter volume discount.
